On Sunday March 27 2016, Torsten walked onto the public property courtyard of Royal International Convention Centre (RICC) (http://www.royalicc.com.au) in Brisbane, Australia, in conjunction with Hillsong Brisbane renting the premises for its religious entertainment and religious commerce. Torsten initially placed himself standing in the fringe of the courtyard perimeters, for 15 seconds, to observe and assess. Torsten recognised some persons on the courtyard who appeared to be in roles of supervision. Torsten then walked towards the centre of the courtyard and approached one of them, by placing himself standing right next to him. The Hillsong security man initiated conversation with Torsten, and upon inquiry confirmed his role in Hillsong equipment security. Torsten therefore initiated an audio recording on a handheld mobile phone, and inquired with the man to identify which person onsite who was in charge of their security. The man pointed out a man wearing a blue chequered shirt. Torsten walked over to the identified person in charge wearing the blue chequered shirt. This person in charge onsite was called “Artie” (Artie Shepherd) who is a pastor of Hillsong Brisbane.

Moments later, two Hillsong security persons approached Torsten while Torsten was chatting on public sidewalk. The Hillsect security persons ordered Torsten to walk away. Once both of the Hillsect security persons had left Torsten, Torsten commented into his mobile phone recorder as a commentary for the listening audience: “There we go. They have no respect for law.”  Torsten then turned off the mobile phone recorder, and within ten seconds Torsten walked across to the opposite side of the street. Torsten observed that the two female police who had been present at all times near the scenes also began moving across to the opposite side of the street. Torsten anticipated that the police wanted to speak with Torsten at this stage, and Torsten therefore walked towards the two uniformed police, and initiated a third audio recording prior to Torsten positioning himself immediately in front of the two police, on the public sidewalk on the opposite side of the road to the Convention Centre.
