I have looked through all the groups that I have and there are none with Christian singles that attend. I have ones with families with young children, and couples. Most groups do not meet every week. There is a bible study group with couples that meets every week, ranging in age from 40-65. Others groups meet only occasionally and are comprised of older people as well. There are men’s groups that meet weekly if you would like to start getting connected. If you are only interested in attending a group that has single Christian men and women I do not have anything available at this time.
A lot of people have been attending the Ministry College courses, the next one will be happening in the fall. That may be a place down the road for you to learn and get connected.

Good to hear from you. I have some suggestions for you about getting involved at
VAC. The young adults group (called NOMAD) is a bible study group and you can
talk with Pastor Jeremy about when they meet. It is not actually a "Singles
Ministry" but a bible study group. The ministry college courses start next week
and you can register for one of those classes this weekend. There should be some
good fellowship there. You might also consider getting involved in the
hospitality weekend ministry which is greeting, coffee, ushering etc. You can
talk to Katherine (my wife) about that on the weekend. Hopefully you can connect
through one of the many church activities.
I will there this weekend, and it is an elder run communion service. Just ask
any of the elders or to point out Dixon and we can talk a bit.

Sorry for the delay, our office closes at 3:30 pm on Fridays and your email didn’t come in until after 5:00 pm, so an immediate response wasn’t possible. Looking over the preceding correspondence I see that you are looking for Young Adult meetings, and to answer your question, there were none on Friday or over the weekend. You did mention that you will be out of town now for quite some time, but for when you return there is a group that meets Thursdays here at the church as well as a couple others that meet in homes around town. Jeremy would be able to connect you with one of those when you return.

I'm looking to attend Christian social settings to connect with other Christians. I handed over directly to the church-preaching-guy on the Saturday evening service that tear-off strip piece of paper for visitors, containing my contact info and that I wanted to be contacted. Neither that chief church-preacher-guy nor anyone else from your church has contacted me.
I am a Christian. I am single. I would like to meet other followers of Jesus Christ while I am here in Vernon. I'm in Vernon until Monday next week, and again from 18th January onwards for uncertain number of weeks/months.
