Misleading and perhaps gossipy “Sydney Life Church Mosman” in Sydney, Australia, falsely invited to a young adults group, but in reality did not invite to any group whatsoever.

Sydney Life Church Mosman in Sydney, Australia, responded in a similar manner to how approximately a dozen other churches in the state of New South Wales replied; with words of welcome. Although the ratio of one dozen welcoming churches out of several hundred churches asked is somewhat low, it is nevertheless something. But also the words of this particular something, Sydney Life Church Mosman, turned out to be of weak substance.

Hello again Tom Inglis,

I visited your church on Sunday, December 15.

Two questions:

1 a) Why did you not introduce to a young adults group as you wrote?

1 b) Upon my visit, there were essentially no young adults in your church. At a glance, your email response may appear as misleading.

2) Prior to departing from your building, instead of walking out the door I visited the washroom, and then returned to the foyer. You were then caught speaking about me to another person. In light of Proverbs, do you find that your gossip then was defensible?

Regards,

Torsten Nenzen

Christian meetings

Dear Sydney Life Mosman Church,

Hi.

I am a Christian single man here in Sydney. I seek a Christian community in Sydney where I also might find opportunities to fellowship, socialise, meet and talk with other Christian singles.

Are there opportunities in your congregation where also single Christians can meet and communicate - and build relationships?

Are there fellowship groups, community groups, cell groups or small groups that I can attend?

Best regards,

Torsten Nenzén
