An Anglican church “St Stephens Bible Church” in Cape Town, South Africa, insinuated that innocent Torsten is a fool, and falsely insinuated that Torsten’s search for marriage is an idol.

St Stephens Anglican Bible Church in Cape Town.

Hello Anglican Chris Ramsbottom,

From your initial commentary, you indicated that you are presumptuous, prejudiced and arrogant: “Why do you think that marriage is God’s plan for you? The Bible equally celebrates singleness. Have you not perhaps made your search for a wife an idol?

From your second commentary, you indicated clearly that you are incapable to understand some of the fundamental and universal aspects of humanity, and clearly indicated your intellectual inability for analogous interpretation and application of Bible verses: “I’m not quite sure that I follow your logic? Are you comparing food to marriage? An idol is anything that we desire more than God. I’m just asking if maybe you have elevated the desire for a wife to that level?

From your third commentary, you further downgrade yourself by hurling an inappropriate Bible verse against me, instead of either (1) explaining a reality-based rationale for your false insinuation, or (2) apologizing and repenting for your typically Anglican imaginary and false accusations against me.

Your Bible verse toss from Proverbs 12:15 “The way of fools seems right to them, but the wise listen to advice.” should logically be understood that you are declaring that Torsten is a fool, and Anglican Chris Ramsbottom is wise – and that Torsten should submit to the Anglican highness and wisdom of Chris Ramsbottom.

I could boast publicly (2 Corinthians 11) but I will not.

God will judge the Anglican persecution against me, and your personal intolerance and false insinuation against me as a fool (Mat.5:22), unless of course you repent.

Regards,

Torsten Nenzen

Chris,

It is clear through your wording that you are not asking a genuine question. You are simply accusing.

"Have you not perhaps made your search for a wife an idol?"

Please explain your reality-based rationale for your accusation.

I expect that you are incapable to understand the comparison.

Regards,

Torsten

Chris

Are you having lunch or dinner today? If so, why do you think that food is God's plan for you? The Bible teaches about fasting.

Have you not perhaps made your desire for food an idol?

St Stephens Bible Church Claremont.

Hi Matt Banks,

Thank you for a pragmatic recommendation for a more local church here in Gardens.

Unfortunately, the Holy Trinity Garden Church is typically Anglican in its attitude against me as a Bible-affirming born again Christian.

I will paste beneath here, the evidenced interaction with that typically Anglican rector.

Not all Anglican clergy are evil, but unfortunately, by evidence it seems that the majority are.

Kind regards,

Torsten Nenzen

Dear Torsten,

Thanks for letting us know about your situation. If you are in Gardens then I would heartily recomend one of our sister churches - Holy Trinity Gardens: http://www.holytrinity.org.za/

I am sure you will find a warm welcome there.

In Him

St Stephen's Bible Church Claremont.

Hi Jill Stevenson,

Thank you for replying with an invitation to visit your church.

Looking on a map, it appears that Claremont is almost as far away from central Cape Town as Rondebosch. I am in Gardens, and my mode of transportation is public transportation. Therefore, it would be a considerable challenge to make it to the morning services. And for safety reasons, it would of course be unwise for me to alone travel to Claremont for the 6pm evening service, which would entail walking alone after sunset. Cape Town has among the highest crime rates in the world for contact crimes and homicides. Only two weeks ago I was mugged at knifepoint in the “safe” neighbourhood of Sea Point in daylight.

If all churches in central Cape Town banish me, then I might risk my life and visit your church in Claremont.

Kind regards,

Torsten Nenzen

Dear Torsten

We do have groups for fellowship at St Stephens. You are welcome to join us at any of our Sunday services and introduce yourself to one of our pastors. You might find that the 6:30 Sunday evening service suits you better because it is more focused on the younger crowd. Our 09:30 service is more family oriented.

Kind regards

Jill Stevenson

Christian relationships.

St Stephen's Claremont.

Hi.

I am a Christian, now staying here in Cape Town.

I seek a Christian community in Cape Town where there is opportunity to fellowship and socialise, also, with Christian singles.

Are there occasions of fellowship in your congregation where also youngish/career adult Christians gather and communicate? Are there fellowship groups, community groups, cell groups or small groups in your church where to also develop friendships?

Best regards,

Torsten Nenzén
