Typically Anglican/devilish “St Andrews Anglican Church” in Hong Kong, by effect of their refusal to welcome, excommunicated a Christian who is absolutely innocent in relation to all excommunications by churches. The Anglican vicar declared "You are a troubled person who only wants to cause mischief.", and mocked the excommunicated Christian by stating “I suspect you enjoy rejection.

Thank-you for now clearly revealing your devilish nature, which you had already indicated to me in your first response.

No normal person would commit to an organisation which does not genuinely welcome.

It is precisely because of persons such as you that normal people discard churches. Unfortunately, some people also discard Christianity because of persons such as you. In other words, your "service" might be correctly described as a disservice to God's Kingdom, and you might be better described as a hindrance for people's salvation.

Only a satanic person would without any at all grounds falsely accuse an innocent person of being a troubled person, insincerity and seeking mischief: "You are a troubled person who only wants to cause mischief."

Shame on you - Anglican satan!

Re: Christian meetings

Dear Torsten,

A genuine enquiry for fellowship would be better pursued by attending a church and getting to know the pastor and he, or she, you.

But you have not chosen that course of action, and any reasonable pastor who cares for his people would not expose them to a stranger without having some measure of confidence in their bona fides. I do not believe you are sincere in your enquiry, and there are a number of clues in your email that you are a troubled person who only wants to cause mischief.

I may be wrong, but that is my judgement, - I suspect you enjoy rejection.

If I am wrong, I apologise, but in any case, I won’t be continuing conversations with you by email.

Find a church where Christ is preached and become a member. Commit yourself to it, and then you will find fellowship, and perhaps even friendship.

Hello again,

Please reply and explain.

In regards to your most statement "We do not have such groups suitable for you as you requested.", are none of the 15% English-speaking-only congregants of St Andrews church single and in their 30's (or late 20's)?

Hi again!

Thanks for replying and explaining yourself.

Since I am accustomed to deliberate evasiveness from other church leaders, I would like to request some more clarity from your church in relation to your most recent statement "we do not have such groups suitable for you as you requested".

Re: Christian meetings

Hello Torsten,

Thanks for your reply.

I am afraid you misread my response.

You asked if "Are there occasions of fellowship in your congregation where also single Christians in the age bracket 30-39 (maybe also late 20’s) gather and communicate?"

I replied "We do not have such groups as you ask, or at least in English."

I didn't say "there are no occasions of fellowship in our church." There are plenty but not for people looking for groups for singles in English in the age range you specified. Eighty five percent of our congregation are Chinese Christians who when they meet in small groups for fellowship generally do so in Cantonese or Mandarin.

We also have a Chinese web site in Chinese.

What I meant when "I said I am sorry that we cannot help you", I meant that we do not have such groups suitable for you as you requested.

I hope that helps you understand my earlier reply

Blessings

John Menear

Vicar

Hello,

Thanks for finally replying to my email enquiry to your church.

You mention in your response that there are no occasions of fellowship in your Anglican congregation.

By no means am I surprised by your response. However, considering the two facts (1) that your church website is designated exclusively for the English language, and (2) that your church website specifically advertises "fellowship" (http://standrews.org.hk/grow/growth-groups), can you please explain a little bit more about your two statement: "We do not have such groups as you ask, or at least in English" and "I am sorry that we cannot help you".

Christian meetings

Dear St Andrews Church Kowloon,

Hi.

I am a Christian here in Hong Kong. I seek a Christian community in Hong Kong where I might find opportunities to fellowship, socialise, meet and talk with also Christian singles.

Are there occasions of fellowship in your congregation where also single Christians in the age bracket 30-39 (maybe also late 20’s) gather and communicate? Are there fellowship groups, community groups, cell groups or small groups in your church that I can attend and develop friendships?

Best regards,

Torsten Nenzén
