I am not a Catholic. I am only a Christian. Sporadically I have visited Catholic gatherings in the past, and more frequently so the past year.

Today, Sunday May 3, 2015, I visited a Catholic community called ‘Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community’ in Perth. Today was my third consecutive Sunday visit to that Disciples of Jesus Covenant Community in Perth.

My first visit three weeks ago occurred together with an accompanying acquaintance who is a member of that community. My second and third visits occurred independently.

At the conclusion of the Sunday gathering on May 3, as I stood up from my seat, an unfriendly man approached me with an attitude of proprietorship over me. Without a normal or mutual social introduction, the man directly asked two questions at me without pause between the two questions (How are you? What brings you to our community?) The man had obviously not a normal friendly intention, but was deliberately approaching me with an agenda. I therefore asked him what he wanted: What do you want? The man continued his unfriendly and possessive attitude towards me, and I therefore took out my mobile phone from my shorts pocket in preparation for commencing an audio recording of the confronting man. When I took out my mobile phone, the man recognised my intention to audio record the conversation, and the man then asked me if I intended to record. As I was yet uncertain regarding the level of malevolent intent from the man, I replied: I am thinking about it. I asked the man again what he wanted, and the man responded possessively that he already knew things about me. The man’s approach and attitude was clearly not a normal, mutual and friendly inquisitiveness, but the man demonstrated in his approach and attitude that he believed that he had a right to interrogate me, and that I had no right to decline cooperation with his unfriendly demand of interviewing me. Upon the confronting man’s words “I know about you.”, I no longer hesitated to commence an audio recording, and I therefore tapped on my mobile phone to commence an audio recording of the remaining conversation.

The man who possessively confronted me claimed that his name is “Reg” and he is apparently a “senior elder” of this Catholic community. “Reg” refused to convey his last name to me.

A second man quickly approached me with a hostile attitude and a caustic tone of voice, while “Reg” spoke at me. This second hostile man called himself “Romano”.

The two Catholic community leaders both requested that I must immediately leave the Catholic property, and threatened me that they would call the police if I did not leave the premises immediately. Upon their threat, I asked the two Catholic community leaders to carry through with their threat and call the police. They did call the police. Once the Catholic leader “Reg” had commenced speaking with the police, I departed from the Catholic premises.

The Catholic leaders requested that I shall not return to their community.

As evidenced in the audio recording, the reasons provided by the Catholic leaders for their banishment against me are utter lies invented by these two Catholic leaders.

“You have come in here uninvited. You are behaving in a very unusual manner. We don’t feel comfortable around you. You are not being friendly. You are a very aggressive person.”
